Covid-19 Update
WRITTEN BY Alex Lopez ON March 29, 2023

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the District has followed state and local public health guidance and all state regulations and laws related to the pandemic.  The District will continue to do so going forward.  As the COVID-19 state of emergency has come to an end in the state of California, the time has come for the District to no longer maintain separate stand-alone COVID-19 plans.  Going forward, the District will follow the state level plans.  Those plans can be located at the locations linked below:

For District specific questions, please feel free to contact Mrs. Kim Howard], the District Covid Coordinator] at 661-792-2545].  You have our sincere thanks for all of your efforts to keep our Pond Elementary School family safe during these past three years.  Without your efforts, we know things would have been much worse at Pond Elementary School.  We could not be more grateful.  We must remain vigilant in our hand hygiene efforts and COVID-19 testing if you think you have symptoms of COVID-19.  We continue to have supplies of COVID-19 testing kits available.

In gratitude,

Alex Lopez

District Superintendent
